Lung Cancer, also known as carcinoma of the lung or pulmonary carcinoma is a malignant lung tumor. It doesn't have too many noticeable symptoms in its early stage. Most of them get diagnosed post-aggravation of the disease. In one-third of the patients, it was discovered after it had reached stage 3! These are the signs of Lung Cancer which will help you recognize the disease at an early stage.
Weight Loss:
Any form of cancer normally causes rapid weight loss. The person might lose about 10 pounds or more. This occurs because cancer cells extract most of the energy that is consumed by the body in the form of food.
Wheezing While Breathing:
Wheezing or whistling while breathing may occur due to blocked , inflamed or constricted airway. It can be a symptom of other benign diseases as well. However, if its prolonged then better visit your doctor.
Hoarse Voice:
Even though such a sign is also accompanied in normal cold, but if it lasts more than 2 weeks or so then you might need to pay attention. Voice becomes hoarse or raspy when the tumor affects the nerve which controls the voice box or larynx.
